5 Things President Trump Did To Secure The Border (and that could've prevented the murder of Laken Riley if it wasn't for Biden)

Given the recent tragedy of the horrendous murder of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old student from Georgia who was (as of the writing of this article allegedly, but basically definitely) brutally murdered by Jose Ibarra, a citizen of Venezuela who entered the US illegally in 2022 and already committed several crimes for which he shouldn't even have been free (or in the US!) in the first place, let's take a look at what was done to secure the border under President Trump.

Here are 5 things:

#1 He Built Large Parts Of The Wall

Under President Trump, hundreds of miles of wall along the southern border were completed before Biden halted the project.

#2 He Introduced The Migrant Protection Protocols

Thanks to the MPP, foreign individuals entering the US from Mexico illegally could be returned to wait outside for the duration of their immigration proceedings, which helped restore a safe immigration process (and could've prevented many cases like the sickening murder of Laken Riley if Biden hadn't terminated the MPP program!).

#3 He Ended Catch-And-Release

This resulted in keeping caught illegals pending future hearings in detention pending removal instead of releasing them back into the US (and also could've prevented Riley's death if Biden hadn't reinstated it during his first year in office).

#4 He Hired New Border Patrol Agents

Just five days after his inauguration, President Trump signed an executive order to hire 5,000 new border patrol agents to increase border security.

#5 He Secured Additional Funding

By taking executive action, President Trump made additional funding to secure the border available.

Given everything Biden did when it comes to border security, it feels like he wants to make America intentionally more dangerous - and his 2nd visit to it that he's planning for the upcoming Thursday all of a sudden after President Trump, who visited the border several times during his 1st term, announced that he'll visit it that day certainly can't whitewash that.
